Heritage Scholarship

Who is Eligible:
High school seniors of Polish descent from the Chicago area who are actively involved in educational or cultural activities celebrating Poland and its heritage. Graduates of Polish schools and students in artistic or cultural groups are encouraged to apply.

What the Scholarship Honors:
Students who choose a healthy, substance-free life, demonstrating strength of character, wise judgment, and courage to stand by their values. Recipients serve as role models, showing that life can be lived fully and successfully without alcohol or drugs.

In Memory of Monika Skrzypkowski:
This scholarship honors Monika Skrzypkowski, who tragically lost her life at 15 when a young, intoxicated driver made the devastating choice to drive under the influence. Her legacy inspires responsible choices, integrity, and a love of Polish culture.
