Heritage Scholarship

is open to deserving high school senior of Polish descent from Chicago Metropolitan Area, involved in educational or cultural activities of Polish School, artistic group, or other educational entity or club, whose activities widen the knowledge of Poland and its culture, and/or graduate of Polish School. The student should be a person who has made the choice not to consume alcohol or drugs during their years at high school. They must show that good judgment during these difficult times has its reward. The student should be a role model who can show others that they believe in living life to the fullest without the aid of alcohol or drugs. This scholarships are given in the name of and in memory of Monika Skrzypkowski, who tragically died at the age of 15 on December 07, 2008.
